Festival Day at Edgeborough School
The annual Festival Day at Edgeborough School, in Frensham, was fortunately blessed with warm and sunny weather, enabling all the children and adults to make the most of a multitude of different activities, both inside and out. Children had the chance to run rings around their parents in netball and soccer tournaments, while others were involved in cookery, music, design and gymnastic displays.
There was archery and swimming, balloon rides and dancing, while parents enjoyed their picnics, accompanied by jazz music, on the Headmaster’s Lawn. One of the most popular of the activities was face painting, as seen modelled here by two young Edgeborough girls. Even the Headmaster, Richard Jackson, sported a discreet blue butterfly on his cheek! ‘It is great to see the children enjoying themselves’ he said, ‘and it is only appropriate that the rest of us should all join in!’
