Hockey Star Inspires Edgeborough Hopefuls

The senior boys’ hockey squad at Edgeborough were fortunate enough to enjoy the skills and coaching expertise of Ben Marsden last week.  Ben has won 27 caps for England and is now one of the leading coaches at Exsportise, a company running sports-based holiday camps.  Now on tour in South Africa with his club side, Surbiton, Ben ran an exciting session that was both inspirational and educational on the school’s own Astroturf pitch.  The Director of Sport, Will Newman, has high hopes for this seasons crop of players whom he hopes will emulate the success of previous Edgeborough sides.
