The Wind in the Willows

An exciting new environmental project has been initiated at Edgeborough School, in Frensham. With the help of children of all ages throughout the school, Ganesh, Elaine and Rosemary of Creative Willow have built a willow dome to be used as a shelter and occasional outdoor classroom.  Trenches were dug to plant the willow withies for the final structure, which over the coming months will come into leaf and turn the dome into a shady bower in time for the summer.

The 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd Forms of the Lower Prep were also able to use their creative talents to make their own willow objects including shooting stars to be planted at home, bird feeders and beautiful vases.
