Edgeborough recently celebrated its Centenary.  It was established as a school in 1906 in Guildford and moved to its current site, the beautiful Frensham Place, in 1939.  Originally a small, privately owned boarding school for boys, Edgeborough became a charitable trust in 1966 and has expanded steadily in recent years.  Co-education was introduced in 1992 and the Pre Prep and Nursery Departments were opened.  The School now offers a continuous education for about 350 boys and girls from Nursery to Common Entrance and Scholarship.  Many new facilities have been added to the School in recent years in a planned programme of development which has not only added to the educational and recreational provision of the School, but also greatly enhanced the beauty of the estate. Alumni include notable figures in the fields of education, politics, the arts and international sport. Edgeborough is a school with a strong Christian ethos.
