The Pre Prep comprises Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, ages 4 to 7. There are 2 parallel classes in each year and they are housed in a purpose-built modern building. All lessons are taught by the Class Teachers, with the help of classroom assistants at all levels. The exceptions to this are French, which is taught by a specialist teacher in all classes, and PE and Music which are taught by specialists in the Year 2 classes.  PE is taught to all classes.

The Pre Prep Lodge houses well-equipped classrooms, a hall, an art and craft room and a library.  There is a wonderful playground with pirate ship, climbing frame, paved area for trikes, astro turf and giant sail shades - perfect for teaching the children outside in the summer months.

The Pre Prep building is self contained, but Year 1 and Year 2 make use of some of the other school facilities, including the ICT suite, the Punshon Sports Hall, the Dance and Drama Studio and the Swimming Pool. All Pre Prep children eat lunch in the school Dining Hall.

Breakfast and After School Clubs
A Breakfast Club is available from 7.50 every day which gives the pupils an opportunity to enjoy a cooked or continental style breakfast. Hawkes Club is an after school club from 15.30 to 17.30, for the Pre Prep children.  An ICT club runs for the Year 2 pupils on Wednesday from 15.45 -16.45
