Introduction
A strong part of the school's success is dependent upon the strong links between Parents, Pupils and School. The Parents' Association is a very important part of that tripod, specifically designed to involve the parent body in the Edgeborough community.
The Parents' Association is not involved with the day to day running of the school. Its aims are to establish and run social events for pupils and parents. Events should essentially be run on a ‘not for profit basis,' but occasionally there will be suitable occasions to raise funds which can be used, according to the wishes of the parents and the school in combination, to supplement the school's charitable activities or to provide additional funds for the use and enjoyment of the school and its pupils.
The Association is run by a Committee, consisting of class representatives, from which an executive of a chair, secretary and treasurer, will be chosen. Any current parent can apply to take one of these positions.
