Notes
We are an educational trust and exist to provide an all-round education of high quality for all pupils. As a non profit-making charitable trust our school fees are used solely to fund your child's education.
Fees are payable prior to the commencement of term and, in order to keep school costs to a minimum, fees should be paid promptly. Fees paid later than fourteen days after the due date will automatically incur an interest charge calculated from the due date.
A term's notice in writing must be sent to the Headmaster, prior to the withdrawal of a child from the school. Without due notice, fees will be incurred in lieu.
A reduction in fees of 5% is offered for the second and subsequent children while there are siblings at Edgeborough. The discount does not apply for Nursery children. However, 3 and 4 year olds are able to claim the Government Early Years funding*. A 10% fee reduction is offered to families of the armed forces.
*Our Nursery is open for 33 weeks per year. Edgeborough participates in the Government Early Years Free Entitlement Scheme and is registered as a Private Provider. The entitlement is for up to 15 hours per week. Our Nursery offers the Free Entitlement Session from 0845 to 11.45 during term time only, for 33 weeks of the year. The EYFE claim is administered and submitted to Surrey County Council by the Accounts Secretary. The first term that your child is eligible, you will be asked to complete an Early Years Registration Form and provide a copy of your child's birth certificate. Thereafter you will be sent an EYFE Declaration form each term so you may increase or decrease the number of hours your child attends. You will receive a termly invoice for the additional activities and facilities which are charged for over and above the basic government provision. This enables us to conform to the EFYE scheme requirements whilst maintaining sufficient fee income to support staffing and facilities of the highest standard.
