Edgeborough Prep is a private school set in 50 acres of beautiful countryside in Farnham, Surrey and provides independent education for girls and boys aged 2-13. Our Nursery was awarded 'Outstanding' in its latest Ofsted inspection and children throughout the school enjoy small class sizes and take full advantage of the extensive academic and sporting facilities on offer. There is a mini bus service, Breakfast Club, After School Club and wide range of extra-curricular activities. Weekly and flexible boarding is a very popular option. Edgeborough pupils achieve excellent academic results and boys and girls go on to a range of top Independent Schools at 13+ via Common Entrance or Scholarship.
The great majority of you who will be looking at these pages will be doing so with the intention of finding a school for your child or children that is first and foremost friendly, supportive and welcoming, but equally, one which is dynamic, exciting and stimulating for children of all ages.
Edgeborough offers a carefully balanced, all round education which aims to develop skills, interests and an aspiration to do anything and everything a pupil does, as well as she or he can. A strong emphasis is also put on thinking and questioning skills. Pupils will be taught how to learn both independently and as part of a team. Overall, as a Preparatory School, we will be preparing your children for the challenges they will face in one of the many excellent day and boarding senior schools available both locally and nationally.
Choosing a school is not straightforward. Ultimately most parents will trust their natural instincts as to which school ‘feels' right for them and for their children. Will they be happy there?
