On 5th February, the Edgeborough U13 boys hockey team were named IAPS Regional Champions. They won 7 out of 7 games, scoring 24 goals and conceding just 2! 16 schools took part and the Edgeborough boys played excellent team hockey throughout the day against some tough competition.
On 12th February, the Edgeborough U11 boys hockey team booked their place in the Nationals as they came second place in the IAPS Regionals at Hurstpierpoint. Fantastic play all morning with the boys winning 5-0, 3-0, 4-0 and 5-0. They conceded only one goal in the final game losing 0-1 to eventually finish 2nd in the region.
Amazing results, great team spirit and thoroughly deserved medals! The boys can’t wait for the National finals later this Spring.
