Edgeborough visits KidZania

Last Friday, Year 4 Edgeborough pupils had a fabulous time visiting KidZania, the indoor city for kids in London. The children learned about the different ways to gain money, including earning it through work, as well as how to spend their hard-earned cash!

Edgeborough was delighted to win this fabulous ‘real life’ Maths school trip through a competition set up by KidZania London and School Notices.

The day was designed to enable pupils to ‘bring Maths to life’ where children could experiment with their KS2 Maths knowledge through interactive activities and mathematical challenges as well as developing other skill sets – from resilience to teamwork and problem solving.

Why not take to the skies and see why calculating time and speed is so important for a BA pilot?  Or become a Vault Guard at KidZania’s own bank – adding up all that money is an important job with many mathematical problems to solve along the way!

Thank you so much to School Notices and KidZania for such a fun and inspiring day.
