Just a year into the job as Headmaster at Edgeborough, Dan Thornburn welcomed a very complimentary review following a recent visit from the prestigious ‘Good Schools Guide’. The expert review describes Edgeborough as “Inclusive, ambitious, just the right balance of traditional and modern – and a huge amount of fun!”.
The report goes on to say, “Everything we saw in the Prep was as it should be, from the merry, paint spattered art room to the very impressive science labs”. Dan is delighted that the report had nothing but praise for the school’s pastoral care; “staff know the children so well, helping them grow in confidence and self-esteem”
Things are going from strength to strength at Edgeborough with waiting lists in a number of year groups and continued local and national success in Sport, Music and the Creative and Performing Arts. Dan paid credit to the work of the staff and added, “I am so pleased that the GSG has got such an accurate feel for Edgeborough.”
