We will be hosting a special King’s Coronation lunch for children on Friday 5th May and as part of that, we will be decorating the dining hall with a canopy of bunting.
To support the King Charles’ lifelong message of environmental sustainability and care for the planet, we would like our canopy to be 100% recycled and are asking the Edgeborough community to help.
We would like your old and unused bunting, or bunting created out of ANY fabric/card/plastic/foil/material you already own.
Donated bunting can be anything at all as long as we can tie it all together! Donated bunting can be old celebration decorations (Birthday/Engagement/Christmas), bunting left over from Jubilee celebrations or branded bunting from a place of work or promotional event. You can write messages on the bunting for children and staff to read, or make some out of old fabric. Be as creative as you like!
How to donate:
· Ensure your bunting is folded neatly and ideally, secured with a clip
· Place in envelope or bag
· Drop off into the clearly labelled box at main reception no later than Tuesday 2nd May
