Edgeborough has done it again!
FOOTBALL
With some amazing play Edgeborough’s U13 Football team rocketed forward into the IAPS Football Regional Semis last week and then straight on to qualify for the IAPS National Finals. The boys kept their energy and great team spirit going throughout the day and were finally crowned U13 IAPS Regional Football Champions!
The boys didn’t concede a single goal and what glory for the Captain and ‘Man of the Match’ who scored the golden goal in extra time, securing the ‘Champions’ title with a 1-0 win. National Finals here we come!! IT’S COMING HOME!
HOCKEY
Once again the U13 girls hockey had a cracking day on Monday, making it to the IAPS National Finals in Cheltenham on the 18th November.
In the first round of matches an astonishing 11 goals were scored, conceding none, followed by a 3-1 Quarter-final win against Felsted. The girls won the Semi-Final 3-1 against Cranleigh (final score being decided by exciting penalty flicks) and carried on to the Finals, playing well with great team spirit but lost to Cheam 0-3. Regional Runners Up and IAPS National Finalists – well done girls.
So proud of the U13s team efforts and hard work this season. Roll on the National Finals!
